About ORD

Established in 2004, the Office of Research and Development (ORD) was initially the Division of Teaching Development and Research under the Office of Academic Affairs. In 2007, in response to the demand of higher education evaluation, it was separated from the Office of Academic Affairs and became an independent unit named the Office of Research and Evaluation Affairs. Considering the growing competition and changing environment of higher education, the office further expanded its mission and was renamed the Office of Research and Development in August 2010.

It is the mission of the ORD to bring out and optimize students’ and faculty’s talents, pursue research excellence, build an intelligent campus, and fulfill social responsibilities of universities.

Taking up the global challenges of higher education, the ORD is committed to ensure the sustainable future of the Chinese Culture University by doing the followings:
formulating a full-fledged and forward-looking medium term development plan.
building a friendly and vibrant research environment for creativity and innovation.

developing diverse evaluation index to encourage versatile performance.

establishing a well-rounded support mechanism for collaboration with government and private sectors.
